STRICTLY Come Dancing is unlikely to be on the telephone to Theresa May when she's foxtrotted out of Downing Street by Conservative plotters or the nation at a General Election, a race developing to show her the door first.

Stephen Hepburn, MP for the Jarrow constituency, commenting on Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn’s speech to the Labour Party Conference 2018 said:

“This was Jeremy Corbyn’s finest speech to date. A future Labour Government would stand up and deliver a fairer Britain where prosperity is shared, everyone gets a decent wage, public services are protected and where a home to rent or buy is affordable for all.

"Meanwhile, the Tories are in total disarray. They have presided over eight years of failure, which has left working people worse off while the few at the top get tax breaks, and run our public services into the ground.

"If the Government cannot secure a Brexit deal, it should call a General Election and let the people elect a Government that can. The Labour Party are truly united and now ready to govern."

Brexit deal

Stephen Hepburn, MP for the Jarrow Constituency, has questioned Cabinet Ministers on what preparations the Government have made for businesses in the North East in the event that no Brexit deal is reached with the EU.

We all want more power over our lives and Jeremy Corbyn and Labour are the route.

Even dictators in banana republics would hesitate to rig elections in the way shameless Theresa May is attempting.

We're back to the future as kids become pupils once again and return to school after the summer holiday.

It’s not every day we enjoy welcoming a famous award-winning film director to the Iona Club in Hebburn or every year if I'm honest.

Stephen Hepburn, MP for the Jarrow Constituency has continued his campaign to get the drug Orkambi made available on the NHS for people suffering from Cystic Fibrosis.

Crime increases

Stephen Hepburn, MP for the Jarrow Constituency has questioned government ministers at the Home Office about recent crime increases in South Tyneside.

Most of us living on the South bank of the Tyne will know at least one woman cheated by the Tories of their state pension.

Our local councillors are performing miracles by sustaining top quality services on South Tyneside.

LEGEND has it Margaret Thatcher looked down her nose at blokes who travelled by sticking out an arm at a stop to travel then pressed the bell to get off.
